The following criteria is used to qualify potential clients for venture capital:

1.  Highly credible leadership/management.  Global Ventures attempts to mitigate risk in the high risk environment of developing resource companies by operating with a value set based on integrity, pragmatism, objectivity, and painfully thorough due diligence.  All investment opportunities are judged using worst case, most likely case, and best case probability metrics.  Potential partners must understand and be compatible with this approach to decision logic. 

2.  The theme of risk mitigation is key to the evaluation of all key metric categories including subject properties.  Limited funds may be used for "wildcat" ventures when the potential reward is very attractive; however, "trial and error" exploration has been virtually eliminated due to the evolution of geology as a science and as an art coupled with leading edge techologies.  Consequently, properties under consideration must have a well documented geological history along with objective and reasonal extrapolations.

3.  A sliding scale is used to determine the financial risk to Global Ventures.  Risk must be shared.  Sweat equity can be considered as part of the value equation; however, there will typically be shared financial risk required.  The less the financial risk ventured the more the potential reward will be skewed in favor of Global Ventures.

4.  An evaluation of country risk is integral to financial participation.  This factor includes unemcumbered leases, long term licenses, royalty fee assurance, mining history, political stability, etc.
